Be assured that money designated for “Because They Count” or “building” was used to pay the debt on the existing facility and expand ministry areas. When we were in the midst of “Because They Count”, Cornerstone faced an unexpected banking issue that dealt with the conversion of our building loan. Since that time, we have employed an Executive Pastor and made our Financial Secretary full time. These positions provide clearer oversight of all financial affairs, including budgeting and banking.
